Martin Kasik

Martin Kasík is a Czech classical pianist. He studied at Janáček Music Conservatory in Ostrava, following with Prague Music Academy, led by Ivan Klánský. He is a laureate of many prizes, namely e.g. Competition of Prague Spring.

He performed on many famous stages worldwide, which are often dream places for artists, such as New York’s Carnegie Hall. For a few years Kasík teaches at Prague Conservatory and Prague Music Academy. Since 2008 Kasík leads Chopin’s festival in Mariánské Lázně. During his professional career he released 12 albums.
